This week Beauty and the Bitch are diving int Diana Gabaldon’s OUTLANDER. Now that Starz has popularized this Fantasy/Romance/Period Piece, and season 4 starts VERY SHORTLY. Morgan is a big fan, and is currently getting through Book 4 in preparation for Season 4.
Mic thinks it sounds slightly ridiculous, but agrees that Sam Huegan (Jamie Fraser) is a god among men (SPOILERS: We talk about this fact. A. Lot.)
So, if you’re in to Time Travelling, fantasy, period pieces, family drama, comedy, romance and MORE then you should check it out! It’s surprising less about romance as time goes on, so if that’s holding you back DON’T LET IT.
Also, if that’s holding you back (like it previously did for Morgan), get over it and try new things! It’s not embarrassing! We promise! (but we will still make fun of you)
PLUGS:
Mic recently saw Room and thinks EVERYONE SHOULD SEE IT. It’s beautiful, sad, inspiring, and makes you value your life and relationships. Mic gave this a 10/10 on his summer watching list!
Morgan want’s to plug the book she got out of a free-library in Atlanta – “The Friday Night Knitting Club”: Sounds……lame? Actually sweet and very good. Family drama, and said to be “Steel Magnolias set in Manhatten”…..so. There’s that.
